Investigative Consultants International provides their clients with access to a dynamic group of professional Investigators that you can contact with a single phone call or Internet connection. ICI performs investigation and surveillance for companies that are either defending themselves in lawsuits, or attempting to identify fraud as it relates to workers compensation, liability, intellectual property, due diligence, internal theft and workplace violence or harassment accusations.

Brandon I. August: President / Lead Investigator
Brandon has been with ICI since 2002. He was in charge of our offices in the Northwest for several years before returning back to California to lead ICI. He has been conducting investigations, both criminal and civil for more than 20 years. Besides being a police officer in the Bay Area for a number of years, he was also was an intern investigator for the Sacramento County Public Defender's Office. Mr. August obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and has attended graduate schools in the fields of Criminology and Public Administration.

Craig R. Riesterer: Vice President of Operations/Investigator
Craig has been with ICI since 1994, and is the Supervisor of our surveillance department. He has extensive knowledge of video and photographic techniques, and is a highly proficient field investigator. In addition to surveillance, Craig also handles a variety of investigative cases, including witness interviews, locates, aviation, product liability and related matters.

Michael "Doc" Black: Lead Investigator (Pacific Northwest Regional Offices)
Doc's career as a professional investigator spans over twenty years and includes work in law enforcement and as a criminal defense investigator. He currently serves as the lead investigator for our Pacific Northwest Regional Office where he contributes extensive experience in all aspects of both civil and criminal investigations.

Fred W. Albrecht: Marketing Director
Fred was with law enforcement for 31 years. He was Chief of Police for Clayton, CA for eight years and prior to police chief, he was division commander for San Bernardino, CA. Fred has the ability to coordinate and communicate with management and personnel at all levels; perform detailed analytical assignments with dependability; and function efficiently and independently within decision making environments. He has a degree in Administrative Justice.

Scott Thomsson: Investigator
Scott has become a seasoned field investigator for Investigative Consultants International over the past few years working in out of our Pacific Northwest offices covering both Washington and Oregon. As a field investigator Scott has outstanding observation skills and works well under pressure, always using good judgment.

Julia Catanesi: Office Manager/Investigator
Julia has obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from California State University Hayward. She has been certified in Library & Information Technology and has extensive background in digital and standard photography. She currently maintains and schedules our case files, accounts receivable, and media processing as well as conducts our skiptracing and background investigations.
